I used whole wheat flour (ata), Teff flour (an ancient Ethiopian grain), Ragi flour and Jawar flour for my mix. You can try to mix different flour per your preference.

Instructions to make Multi grain puris:
  1. First of all mix multi grain flour with wheat flour then sieve the flour..Mix carom seeds by rubbing on your palm, add salt, pour hot clarified butter/desi ghee and mix well with the help of a spoon then rub the ghee mix flour with both of your hands to incorporate ghee with flour nicely
  2. Make small lemon sized balls out of dough and flatten it giving the shape of round puris on a rolling board with the help of a rolling pin
  3. Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan and fry the puris on medium to high flame till golden brown in colour..take out of oil n put on an absorbant kitchen towel napkin to soak up the access oil..Make all the puris with same process
  4. Yo'r multigrain puris are done
  5. Transfer in a serving plate and serve hot with cumin potato, aloo launji or chana gravy
