Scrape down the sides of the bowl and pulse again. Place asparagus in a single layer onto the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper, to taste; gently toss to combine. Toss to coat the spears, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss asparagus with enough oil to coat.
