  5. Serve on a bed of rice, then pour gravy on. If any gravy left freeze it and use in making fried rice

Now spoon all the remaining ingredients over the ribs and sprinkle with salt and pepper. While the ribs are cooking, get busy making the apple BBQ sauce. During the last hour, brush the ribs with the North Carolina Barbecue Sauce. TRIM any excess fat off ribs. Arrange ribs, meaty-side up, in a very large, wide pot.
